Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from MaxMattress and Furniture Pty Ltd through this store. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

About us

MaxMattress and Furniture Pty Ltd is a family furniture workshop in the Illawarra. We make cushions, dog beds, bean bags and inserts at 95 Five Islands Road, Cringila NSW 2502.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Australian dollars. Payment is taken at checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment has been received and we have sent you a confirmation email.

We try to keep prices and product details accurate. If we find an error in the price or description of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and you can confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund.

Stock

Stock levels shown are our best information at the time. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will contact you and either offer an alternative or refund you in full.

Made to order items

We make items to your own measurements, fabric choice or specification. Once production has started, a made to order item cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind. We will confirm the specification with you in writing before we begin.

Colours and materials

Colours may look slightly different on your screen than in person, and fabric patterns may sit differently from one piece to the next. Natural variation of this kind is not a fault.

Where a product is described as waterproof, that refers to the cover. No outdoor item should be left out in heavy rain or standing water.

Delivery

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Returns

Returns and refunds are covered by our Return and Refund Policy.

Your consumer rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Liability

Other than the rights described above, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing it, repairing it, or refunding what you paid for it.
